Central Coast Ocean Adventures is a direct-service 501(c)(3) nonprofit provider of profoundly engaging and impactful ocean-based educational experiences to the communities of Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. CCOA’s educational programs are created out of direction from our communities and what priorities are most needed.

CCOA wants every child and their family to have the opportunity to form deeper connections with the environment, each other, and themselves through exploring sailing and the sea.
To ensure everyone has access to CCOA’s enriching programs, we provide them to schools, community-based organizations, and the public, often at reduced or no cost.
Breaking Down Barriers
As a result, CCOA is committed to break the barriers that exist that keep some from enjoying and learning from one of our most valuable resources- The Santa Barbara Channel. These barriers can be social, cultural, geographic, and economic.
